I would have purchased the pro version but your payment gateway wants to go through too many steps, after spending 10 mins. trying to buy it, I gave up.
You may want to consider PayPal and forget the frustrating one you’re using
I have never enjoyed avangate.com. We no longer use them as our gateway.

I’m sorry for the trouble you had with avangate, As far as I know it only has a payment details page and a confirmation page, and it seemed to work for other customers.
I have added a new payment method, it should work smoothly for you if you still want to buy. click the new “Buy now” button.
I’m also planning to move away from avangate soon because of the high rates they apply.

That is possible, and actually easy, as I do have a spinner under development for another plugin to be released later. I’ll definitely keep this in mind for the next update.

It have to work with pages also, not just categories
It’s only works in english or support other languages?
While the control panel is in English, you can create comments in any other language, as long as it is displayed correctly in wordpress.

I’ve installed the free version on my WP site (I want to trial your system before purchasing the Pro) but I have been unable to find a control panel or any way to configure the plugin. Your help would be greatly appreciated?

You’ll find the control panel in the new “Commentator” tab under Settings in your wordpress dashboard. let me know if you still can’t find it.
